What is Phone number validation?
Checking whether a phone number is correctly formatted, active and what line type it is.
Phone validation confirms that a number is well-formed (in E.164 international format), reachable, and identifies its line type — mobile, landline or VoIP — along with its carrier and country. It's the phone-side equivalent of email verification.
