What is SPF?
Sender Policy Framework — a DNS record listing which servers may send email for your domain.
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a TXT record that publishes the list of servers and services allowed to send mail on behalf of your domain. Receiving servers check it to detect spoofing — mail from a server not in your SPF record looks suspicious.
Common SPF mistakes include exceeding the 10-DNS-lookup limit, publishing more than one SPF record, or omitting the closing all mechanism. SPF works alongside DKIM and DMARC as the three pillars of email authentication.
